Arcadia residents are seeing Gold Line alignment work
progressing. Moving and placing underground the existing utilities on Santa
Anita Ave., Colorado Blvd., and Huntington Drive has commenced in preparation for
the construction of bridges over these streets. Traffic will be slowed
along these streets but businesses will remain open during the alignment work.
Once built these bridges eliminate the need for crossing arms and sound warnings and will
contribute to smoother traffic flows.
